Josh received the #3 Up & Coming drummer award from Modern Drummer. Josh fuses his foundation of Jazz with growing up in church to create his multi-genre career. 

Josh can be heard touring and recording with Tituss Burgess, Loren Allred, VÉRITÉ. Josh will be making his Carnegie Hall debut Feb 14 and is set to go out on the Sabrina Carpenter tour this summer with Remy Bond.

Josh has had the privilege of subbing on the Broadway drum chairs of & Juliet, The Lion King, Book of Mormon, Some Like It Hot, Cabaret, SUFFS and The Outsiders.

Josh identifies and prides himself with LGBTQ+ community work and is a co writer in Britton and The Sting which seeks queer black liberation. The Sting had a week of sold out shows at Little Island NYC and the Perelman NYC and Josh MD’d for their North American tour with Sammy Rae and Friends.

Josh has one album out titled “Two Worlds” on all streaming platforms.
